Educational Films
Since the release of the main feature film ‘Six Inches of Soil’ we have created short educational cuts for schools, colleges and universities around the themes of soil and farming. These films use unseen interviews and scenes from the main films, plus additional new material aimed at a younger audience.
The films have been designed to screen within a facilitated lesson. We have worked closely with teachers, pupils and lecturers to create these films. These are made for Key Stage 2 and above.
Short films we have created in 2025:
What does soil mean? - We asked farmers, food producers and activists what soil means to them.
The Wonder of Soil - What is soil, why is it important and how can we save it?
Animated History of Soil - how humans have valued soil through the ages and farming's impact on the soil
